World leaders and scientists will hold an online discussion of the World Anti-Crisis Plan

astana economic forumAn online conference to discuss the World Anti-Crisis Plan for the UN will be held on the eve of the World Anti-Crisis Conference (Astana, 22-24 May).

WAC will be held in Astana for the first time at the initiative of President Nursultan Nazarbayev. The conference aims to develop a Global Anti-Crisis Plan to be presented to the UnitedNations (UN), adocument basedon democratic principles andreflecting interests of all countries.

On 15 May, 2013at 19:30(Astana time) world politicians and scientists will join an online conference via a G-global platform, This virtual Conference will discuss issues of the world financial system: “The decade of regulation and unemployment in the Eurozone: political and  economic dimensions”, “Assessment of the world monetary policy and it simplications for global financial stability,” “Transitions in the World capital markets: changes in the financial landscape?”. Anyone will be able to ask speakers questions in the online regime.

pelhamParticipants: Domingo Cavallo, Doctor of Economics, professor at Yale University; Dr. Michael Kunz, a representative of the Executive Secretary of the UN Economic Commission for Sven Alkalaj; Marc Uzan, director of the Committee for the renewal of Bretton Woods; Suhail Sami Sultan, Advisor to the Ministry of Education of Palestine; Maxat Kurbenov, vice-president of the Association “Eurasian Economic club of Scientists”; Ajgul Toksanova, head of the WAC working group; Jamila Bopieva, head of the working group for preparation of theAEF final resolutions.

The World Anti-crisis Conference will take placeat the level ofministers of finance,economyand heads of central banksof the UN Member States. Officials from over 80countries confirmed their participation in the event, as well as representatives of 10major international organizations, including the UN, OSCE, WTO, IMF, Asian Development Bank, Islamic Development Bank, the Eurasian Development Bank, the Eurasian Economic Community, the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking states, and the Committee for the Renewal of the Bretton Woods.
