
PPC Energie, an electricity and natural gas supplier, launches a new version of the myPPC application, with a friendlier design and the main sections reorganized around the actions that customers do most frequently. Both the web version and the mobile application have been redesigned so that the key functionalities intuitively combine the needs of users with digital experience.
The data for in-app authentication will remain unchanged, so users can log in to the app with the same credentials (email address/phone number and password). In the preparation phase necessary to switch to the new version, between Friday July 17, starting at 20:00, until Sunday July 19, 2026, the myPPC application will be unavailable for the minimum possible disruption of user experience.
“We built the new version of myPPC so that users can quickly and predictably find the information they need. That’s why we’ve simplified exactly the flows that customers use most often — paying the bill and sending the index. The direction of the new myPPC digital platform was validated through applied discussions, with real users, and the results showed that the new application is perceived as an updated version, which allows fluid, improved navigation and manages to highlight the key functionalities in relation to the users’ needs”, said Ionuț Dună, General Manager of PPC Energie.
The invoice payment and index transmission flows have been simplified and include immediate confirmation after each action, and the users always see what stage they are at. Contract information and price offer have been reorganized in the „Contracts, products and services” section for more transparency.
myPPC allows the renaming of consumption places and simpler management of several consumption places from the same account, with a separate structure for residential and business.
The contact form has been considerably improved with predefined request types for easier navigation for the user, and notifications for invoices, due dates and index submission periods can be configured by each customer, depending on the preferred channel (email or in-app).
The myPPC app continues to provide access to PPC myRewards, a discount program for dozens of merchants, available to all PPC Energy customers. The app also features PPC myEnergy Coach, the platform for personalized energy efficiency recommendations, available exclusively to electricity customers who are contract holders.
Almost 60% of PPC Energie customers currently have an active account in the myPPC app, and in the last 6 months, more than 4 million payments and over 1.8 million index transmissions have been made through the app.
Between July 17 and 19, when the myPPC application will be unavailable, PPC Energie customers can make payments via Direct Debit, bank transfer, the mobile banking applications of banking service providers, RoPay, ATM, or by card in most PPC Energie stores and through the ING SoftPOS application.
The new myPPC version can be accessed online, at myppc.ppcenergy.ro address, or by downloading the mobile app for free from the App Store, Google Play, or Huawei AppGallery.
